Podobnie jak pierwsza część, Planets of the Galaxy, Volume Two znalazł się w mojej kolekcji w ramach wydania zbiorczego The Planets Collection. Co ciekawe wydanie zbiorcze umiejscawia go na końcu podręcznika, zostawiając środkowe miejsce dla trzeciej części. Bystre oko zauważy, że wydano go w ramach serii The New Republic i oficjalnie prezentowane tu informacje pochodzą z okresu dwóch lat po Bitwie o Yavin. W przeciwieństwie do poprzedniego podręcznika, przechodzimy tu od razu do prezentowania ośmiu kolejnych światów, pomijając rozdział o tworzeniu własnych światów.
