A tall woman with an unmistakable air of authority, Sena Leikvold Midanyl has served for years as Garm Bel Iblis` chief aide and advisor. She began her career with Bel Iblis during the Corellian`s days in the Galactic Senate. She too saw the rampant corruption in the Republic, and believed in Bel Iblis` dire warnings of things to come.
When the Empire came to power, Sena was by Bel Iblis` side as he and Senators Bail Organa and Mon Mothma built the Rebel Alliance. She also helped the Corellian Senator overcome his grief when the Empire murdered his wife and children on Anchoron.

A falling out with Mon Mothma led Bel Iblis to leave the Rebellion and wage his private war against the Empire. Sena came with him, continuing to serve loyally. Along with Bel Iblis` security chief, Irenez, the three planned many independent attacks against Imperial forces, but they constantly kept on the move to avoid Imperial reprisals.

Sena believed in Bel Iblis` concerns about Mon Mothma. He feared the Chandrilan Senator and leader of the Rebellion would become just another dictator once Palpatine was defeated. After the defeat of the Empire at the Battle of Endor, Garm Bel Iblis stubbornly waited to be proven right.

That day never happened, and Sena realized that the Senator was too proud to admit his mistake. He had misjudged Mothma. Though Sena had great love and respect for the man, she knew he would never willingly approach Mon Mothma to request membership in the New Republic. Sena instead suggested Han Solo invite Bel Iblis back into the fold.
