Przecież z Karmazynowego Imperium dowiadujemy się że byli to wojownicy obdarzeni przez Palpatin`a cząstką mocy Ciemnej Strony (mogłem pomieszać ale jakoś tak). Więc jak to możliwe że przechodzący obok nich Yoda nie wyczuł ich??? Że nie wyczuwają Palpatine`a to rozumiem bo to jest Ciemny Lord Sith ale że takich zwykłych wojowników posługujących sie pikami mocy??????
Oczywiscie, tyle ze Lucasa malo obchodzi co bylo w tym komiksie, byc moze nawet nie wie, ze cos takiego istnieje. Chociaz z drugiej strony mozna to wyjasnic tak, ze gwardia istniala juz o wiele wczesniej tylko wtedy rekrutowala sie z osob nie czulych na moc a dopiero potem Imperator przeksztalcil ja w super elitarna jednostke.
Tak na marginesie to dla mnie bardzo intrygujaca postacia jest Sly Moore, wspopracownica Kanclerza, stoi obok niego podczas rozmow z Jedi. Dodajcie jej dlugiego kuca i otrzymacie... Aurre Sing.

W Karmazynowym Imperium nie ma żadnej wzmianki o CSM dawanej Gwardzistom. Jedynie Carnor Jax władał Mocą.
Żadna więc gwarancja, że Ci dwaj panowie w Apartamencie Palpatine`a byli Force-Userami, zwłaszcza, ze Jax zakończył swoje szkolenie kiedy już pan Vader straszył swą maską galaktykę - więc Jax nie był jednym z Gwardzistów w Apartamencie.
Ciemną Stronę Mocy otrzymywały WSZYSTKIE mózgi w Droidach Cienia (Shadow Droid) oraz elita nad elitę, czyli Imperialni Protektorzy (Imperial Sentinels) - obie grupy z komiksów Dark Empire.

Od dłuższego czasu trapi mnie to pytanie, a przeglądając zakamarki bastionu nie znalazłem jeszcze czegoś takiego - Kim sa Ci z Gwardii Pałacowej itp. Imperatora - wiecie Ci w czerwonych szatach. Wiem ze jest też Imperialna Gwardia Senacka i Wszechmocni Shadow Guardzi .gif)
To nie zmienia faktu, ze nadal nie wiem kim są i jak się stali nimi owi strażnicy? Kolejną rzeczą, co do której mam wątpliwości w tej sprawie to czy każdy używał takiej halabardy laserowej jak shadow guardzi czy tylko niektórzy, bo w różnych źródłach piszą różnie?
Co do tej halabardy to wiecie- chodzi mi o miecz swietlny umieszczony na końcu tej ich laski

No ale np. jak patrzeć na takiego Shadow Guarda, który używał mocy to to nie mógł być jakiś pierwszy lepszy niezwykle doświadczony żołnierz armii Imperium Musiał być czuły na moc, a tu pojawia się kolejne pytanie - kto go szkolił?
To jeszcze rzucę cytat z Dark Empire SB o formacji bardzo podobnej do Shadow Guardów z TFU. Osobiście traktowałbym ich jako ewolucję.
Imperial Sovereign Protectors
This most elite order of the Emperor’s
bodyguards is selected from the main body of the
crimson-robed Royal Guard. They are stationed in
small groups throughout the Empire as watchmen
over all the palaces and monasteries that Palpatine
haunts as well as guarding the Emperor.
No other group of soldiers in the entire
galaxy, Empire or Republic, is as highly trained or
motivated.
They have an awesome responsibility. With
Palpatine’s knowledge of the Force, and with the
importance of his projects at the Clone Vats on
Byss, these armored figures have the most important
duty in the entire New Order. Each of them is
clothed in lightweight, yet elaborate ceremonial armor,
and armed with unique and exotic weapons.
They are experts at armed and unarmed combat.
One reason the Emperor created the Sovereign
Protectors was because he thought it unwise
to limit the aspirations of his followers. By setting
nearly unattainable goals and watching his men
struggle to achieve them, he can keep them under
better control. By creating higher and higher
circles of elite status, it motivates them all to push
themselves constantly.
Just as the Royal Guard are the finest of
the Imperial stormtroopers, so the Protectors are
the highest order yet. Palpatine may create still
more elevated ranks in the future, but for now, the
Protectors are the summit.
The training arid testing procedure that
each Protector undergoes is elaborate and time
consuming; it may take years to qualify, and the
waiting list is enormous. Part of the selection
process is based on traditional combat fitness,
including tests of stamina, strength, dexterity,
and the ability to endure pain. Other tests include
mental acuity, reaction time, loyalty, intelligence.
Once they have shown exemplary achievement in
all these matters, the most crucial step is begun.
Unlike all the other soldiers at the Emperor’s command,
the Sovereign Protectors are taught in the
ways of the Dark Side.
Tutored in the Force by the Senior Dark
Side Adepts in the Emperor’s service, they are
taught only elementary skills, so they must always
be subservient. And subservient they are — so utterly
unswerving in their loyalty that it is said that
they can’t even perceive any thing which might
corrupt them from their service; others say they
would kill themselves in an instant if ordered to by
their Master. Whether true or not, that unthinking
loyalty will be most useful to them later because

to o ile dobrze pamiętam z samego TFU, to byli to upadli lub nawet porywani padawani Jedi, poddawani praniu mózgu, dzięki czemu można było z nich zrobić wrażliwych na moc gwardzistów. Szkoleni przez najprawdopodbniej Palpatine`a(z tego co stwierdził Starkiller) i innych Sithów będących jego uczniami a nie będącymi Vaderem(Ręce Imperatora, Inkwizytorzy, Elita Ciemnej Strony itd.) Z drugiej strony, kłóci się to nieco z tym, co przytoczył wyżej Stele
Ja bym spytał, dlaczego robiono z nich gwardzistów? Gwardzista jak gwardzista, raczej powinien być bardziej oficjalny, a ci działali bardziej jak agenci lub zabójcy.
O szadołach w tych cytatach praktycznie nic nie ma. Ot tyle, co każdy z obrazków odczytać umie. A formacje z Dark Empire do nich mają się jak fabuła TFU do Nowej Nadziei.
A co prawda, niby jest napisane że pałacowi nie podlegają ani flocie ani wojsku, ale czy np. mają oni wpływ na Gwardię senacką, która jest niżej w hierarchii a tez nikomu raczej nie podlega?

Imperial Royal Guard
The Imperial Royal Guard is a special detachment
of hand-picked Imperial stormtroopers who
serve as the Emperor`s personal guards. Each of
these soldiers is specially scrutinized to fit select
size, strength, intelligence and loyalty requirements,
and equipment and training is lavished
upon them.
No firm figures are available on the exact number
of Royal Guards serving the Emperor, but
speculation ranges from fewer than 50 to the tens
of thousands. Whatever the case, the Royal Guard
has become a formidable military sub-unit which
is directly under the control of the Emperor.
The entire Royal Guard is never sent on combat
missions. A few small elements of the guard
are sent into combat on a rotating basis to keep
them in fightingtrim. On such missions, guard
members usually dispense with their ceremonial
uniform and don the armor worn
by other stormtroopers in the operation.
In such instances, the guard members are
always part of the same unit. They are
never dispersed among the ordinary Army
units.
Rumors abound about this fierce fighting
force. The legend is that no Royal
Guard member has yet been killed in
combat. Stories tell of their invincible
fighting prowess — always in the service
of the Emperor.
Royal Guards wear garb consisting
of flowing red robes, red battle armor,
and red helmets. Although ceremonial,
the red armor does not hamper guardsmen
in regards to movement or fighting.
This armor is derived from a pair of similar
designs, the uniforms of the Death Watch of the
Mandalore system and the Sun Guards of the
Thyrsus system. That the armor resembles those
of units with such ferocious reputations is no
accident, and the red glint of the Imperial Royal
Guard armor inspires fear in the hardest of men.
Problem z senackimi jest taki, że nie pojawili się nigdzie poza TFU 2, gdzie robią za zwykłe moby na jednej planszy. ISB opisuje struktury po rozwiązaniu senatu, wiec nawet o nich nie wspomina. Zresztą przez 25 lat z pewnością wiele w tym aspekcie by się zmieniło i tak.
Pewnie pierwotnie wszystko było jak za starej republiki. Czyli podlegała komitetom ochrony senatu i gwardii. Czy wraz ze wzrostem wpływów compnoru przeszła pod jego jurysdykcję, nie wiemy.
