*Halagad Ventor
A native of Alderaan, Halagad was trained to be a Jedi Knight during the last years of the Old Republic.
Halagad was trained by Everen Ettene, and it was known that he started his schooling in the Jedi arts at a
late age. Ventor and Ettene were part of the team of Jedi who were believed lost when they were
dispatched to resolve the growing conflict between the Virgillian Free Alignment and the Virgillian
Aristocracy. Their transport was destroyed upon arrival, and it was feared that the four Jedi were killed.
Halagad managed to survive the mission, however. He later served under Obi-Wan Kenobi during the
Clone Wars, and was a distinguished warrior. Shortly after the start of Emperor Palpatine`s rule of the
galaxy, Ventor was captured by Darth Vader and brutally interrogated. All the information Halagad knew
of the Jedi was stripped from him mind, and the Jedi Purge was virtually a complete success. Halagad,
traumatized by the interrogation and the death of the Jedi, fled to Trinta. There, he succombed to the
Dark Side nexus that was located on the planet, and gave himself over to the energies of the Dark Side of
the Force. He was discovered nearly two decades later by a group of Alliance field agents who crashed
on the planet, and their bravery and trust in the Light Side of the Force eventually brought Halagad out of
his despair. Upon learning of the survival of Kenobi and the appearance of Luke Skywalker, Halagad
fought against the Dark Side and defeated it, but died shortly afterward. His body disintgrated, and he
became one with the Force.
*Ylenic It`kla [zginął wraz z Alderaaanem]
This Caamasi was one of the few members of his species to become a Jedi Knight. A golden-furred
humanoid with purple facial stripes, Ylenic was assigned to work with Aayla Secura in recovering Ratri
Tane from Corellia. There, Ylenic worked with his old friend, Nejaa Halcyon, to ensure that Aayla`s
mission was a success, despite the mysterious circumstances under which it was carried out. Shortly
after the Clone Wars, Ylenic and Nejaa were dispatched to stop Nikkos Tyris, who had stumbled upon
ancient Sith lore. Although the Jedi succeeded in eliminating the Sith threat, Nejaa was killed in the
struggle. Ylenic then flew to Corellia to deliver Nejaa`s personal belongings to his widow, Scerra. Years
later, he served as one of Bail Organa`s chief advisors during the early years of the New Order. Ylenic
was part of the Alderaanian delegation which travelled to Cloud City to meet with Bria Tharen.
Unfortunately for thr Caamasi, Ylenic was on Alderaan when it was destroyed by the first Death Star. It`kla
died in the blast.
*Darrin Arkanian [Zginął w roku 14BBY]
This Sullustan Jedi Knight was an idealist and a dreamer. He cherished life above all else, and strove to
be a model of peace and contemplation. Arkanian and a small team of Jedi were dispatched to the
Lahara Sector, shortly before the onset of the Clone Wars, to rescue the crew of the Iron Tether. The ship
had been attacked by Separatist forces and driven into the Cowl Crucible. The Jedi found that the ship`s
crew had survived, and returned them to Coruscant. When Emperor Palpatine began hunting down the
Jedi, Arkanian went into hiding, and took Corwin Shelvay as an apprentice. They were branded as
outlaws and fugitives, and they roamed the Outer Rim in searching of surviving Jedi Knights. When
Corwin was captured by High Inquisitor Tremayne, Arkanian infiltrated Coruscant to rescue his student.
He was caught by Tremayne, and they engaged in a lightsaber duel. Arkanian lost, and was fatally injured
before Shelvay could rescue him. Arkanian died a few days after they escaped from Coruscant.
*Corwin Shelvay
This young human was full of good intentions, but he was quick to anger. He was taken as an apprentice
to the Jedi Knight Darrin Arkanian, who tried to teach Corwin of the Force. Corwin was a quick student,
but felt that his powers should be used directly against the Empire. Arkanian tried to get Corwin to control
his emotions at every turn. Together, they traversed the galaxy, staying one step ahead of the authorities
while searching for surviving Jedi Knights. During one mission, Corwin was captured and brought to
Coruscant. There, High Inquisitor Tremayne tortured him in an attempt to reveal Arkanian`s whereabouts.
Corwin resisted until Arkanian attempted to rescue him. In a battle with Tremayne, Arkanian was cut
down, and Corwin became enraged. He leapt after Tremayne and lashed out, severing Tremayne`s arm
and damaging his face with a lightsaber. Corwin and Arkanian fled, but Arkanian died a few days later.
Corwin realized that, in the battle with Tremayne, he had touched the Dark Side of the Force. In a vision
some time later, Corwin saw himself as Tremayne`s twin, and this shocked him back to the Light Side.
Corwin then tried to return to his home, only to find that the Empire had killed his family ten years earlier.
What he didn`t know is that they had spared the life of his sister, Elena. Corwin, cut loose from all the ties
that mattered to him, roamed the Outer Rim until he met Devon Fuller. Fuller`s hatred for the Empire
touched Corwin`s anti-Imperial feelings, and drove Corwin to join the Alliance. Thus, he became an
invaluable operative and recruiter in the Outer Rim
*Don-Wan Kihotay (Marvele!)
This old-timer, who claimed to be a Jedi Master, joined Han Solo and Jaxxon in liberating a village on
Aduba-3 from the clutches of Serji-X Arrogantus and his Cloud-Riders. During the battle, in which Merri`s
grandfather summoned the Behemoth to fight the Cloud-Riders, Kihotay sacrficed himself to save
Amaiza. Somehow, though, he survived the killing blow, and set out to destroy the Behemoth. Soon
joined by Han Solo and Hedji, they managed to defeat the creature. However, despite having his armor
protect him from most of the Behemoth`s blast, Kihotay suffered massive internal injuries. He was
transported to the medical facilities on Telos-4, where he eventually died at the hands of Valance the
Hunter. However, Valance managed to learn of the existence of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker from
Kihotay`s ramblings, and set out to destroy them as well. When Valance bombed what remained of Telos-
4, Kihotay was consumed in the blast.
*Drun Cairnwick
This highly charismatic Alliance supporter led much of the resistance in the Minos Cluster during the
Galactic Civil War. Cairnwick was training to become a Jedi Knight when the Empire took control of the
galaxy. He hid on his homeworld of Adarlon, where he told his neighbors about the atrocities the Empire
was committing. This incited the natives of Adarlon to rebel against Imperial control, and brought a group
of stormtroopers down on his headquarters. Cairnwick had fled before they arrived, and managed to
remain in hiding a few more years before he was eventually captured. He was arrested shortly after the
Battle of Yavin, but still managed to rally support for the Alliance on the prison world Gesaril. He managed
to rescue a group of Alliance POWs before stormtroopers could discover what had happened and seal
the prison.
*Qu Rahn
This former Jedi Knight spent the twilight of his career searching for the lost Valley of the Jedi. Rahn
seemed to be one step ahead of the Dark Jedi, Jerec, who was also searching for the Valley. He feared
the Valley was only a myth until Morgan Katarn discovered its whereabouts. Rahn felt that Morgan was
quite sensitive to the Force, and saw that his son, Kyle Katarn, would someday figure in the locating of
the Valley. He entrusted his lightsaber to Morgan, to pass on to Kyle, then tried to defeat Jerec himself.
However, Jerec captured him on Dorlo and executed him aboard the Vengeance, but not before learning
of Morgan Katarn`s knowledge of the Valley.
